The Movement for Democratic Change (MDC), led by Douglas Mwonzora, has regained control of its Bulawayo offices, previously occupied by the Citizen Coalition for Change (CCC).
The MDC was awarded US$90,000 in damages by the courts, ending a dispute over the ownership of the Gertrude Mthombeni House.
Mwonzora stated that the party will use the damages to fund its mobilization efforts in Matabeleland and plans to reclaim its offices in other areas, including Gwanda, Hwange, Gweru, and Kwekwe.
