Permanent Secretary for Information Nick Mangwana has slammed the International Criminal Court after revelations that it was created for Africa alone.

This comes as ICC prosecutor Karim Khan said he received threats from a senior figure telling him the court is not for the West and its allies.

Taking to X, Mangwana said its time for Africa to review their position on the ICC.

“Except for the Georgia case, all the other cases dealt with by the ICC were from Africa. Some thought it was just a coincidence. Ohh no. The genie is out of the bottle. This court was set up for our people. Time for Africans to review their positions on this”, wrote Mangwana .

Meanwhile, Khan is seeking arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defence Minister Yoav Gallant and three leaders of the Palestinian group Hamas.
