Businessmen Mike Chimombe and Moses Mpofu have been implicated in stealing US$88million under the Presidential Goat Scheme.
This comes as ZACC has gathered more documentary evidence into a case of alleged money laundering and abuse of office involving Wicknell Chivayo, Chimombe and Mpofu.
Sometime in November 2021, the government represented by the ministry of lands entered into a contract agreement with Blackdeck livestock and poultry.
The company represented by Mpofu and Moses had to supply 632 001 goats for US$87 757 168 over a period of five years.
Mpofu and Chimombe who are currently in China are also key suspects in the US$40 million Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) tender scandal.
