The third President of Namibia, Hage Geingob, has died.
Vice-President Nangolo Mbumba announced the news, saying Geingob passed on around 00:04 at Lady Pohamba Hospital, where he was receiving medical treatment for cancer.
He was 82. “At his side, was his dear wife Madame Monica Geingos, and his children,” said Mbumba, who is acting as Head of State.
