The Newsday reports that Harare magistrate Vongai Guriro Muchuchuti has dismissed incarcerated Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) activist Job Sikhala’s application for to be dismissed.

In her ruling, the magistrate indicated that Sikhala had a case to answer based on evidence, including a video clip where he was present during alleged public incitement.

Allegations are that on August 21, 2020 the police arrested Sikhala for allegedly inciting people to commit public violence by participating in a protest.

Sikhala was represented by Harrison Nkomo and Jeremiah Bhamu.
