Zimbabwean music producer Mr Brown says South Africa is now his first home citing that he owes his success to the neighbouring country.

In an interview with Dj Ollah 7, Mr Brown said he is more recognised in South Africa than in his own country.

Mr Brown said upon relocating to SA, he started as a hairdresser, doing dreadlocs then ended up playing guitar and music in the salons, clubs until he was discovered by Bongo beats.

Mr Brown was born in Gweru, but I grew up in South Africa, “but I do relate with my Zimbabwean roots”, he said.

He is the brain behind several big hits from Limpopo’s house music genre. Mr Brown has been a co-producer in several hits including Master KG’s Skeleton Move.
