Zimbabwe has been barred from hosting World Cup qualifiers matches after Confederation of African Football (Caf) excluded the National Sports Stadium (NSS) from the list of pre-approved stadiums.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers matches are set to begin this November.

Warriors will play their World Cup home qualifiers matches outside the country.

Zimbabwe are in Group C of the World Cup African qualifiers together with Nigeria, South Africa, Benin, Rwanda and Lesotho.
