President of the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), Nelson Chamisa has been warned against approaching the court to challenge election results.

The regional bodies like SADC will not get involved where the constitutional court of a country has ruled.

This comes as Chamisa is hoping to stop President-elect Emmerson Mnangagwa’s upcoming inauguration and swearing-in ceremony.

In 2018 Chamisa challenged the election results in court, the Constitutional Court upheld ZEC’s declaration that President Mnangagwa had won the 2018 elections.

Chief Justice Luke Malaba and the eight-member bench dismissed Chamisa’s case with costs.
