Controversy erupted at the just ended Africa Music Festival held in Leicester, UK as South African artist Makhadzi alleged that Y2K Promotions sabotaged her perfomance.
Makhadzi took to social media to vent her anger against the promoters for undermining her because she is not Zimbabwean.
The musician said she ended up performing for only 10 minutes after promising her fans an hour-long set.
She claimed that the organizers kept moving her performance slot after Winky D allegedly took to stage and performed for a over 80 minutes.
Makhadzi claimed that sabotaging her was part of a larger plot to tarnish her brand and reputation.
” Zim UK promoters used Jah Prayzah and me to promote Winky D ,” said Makhadzi.
Meanwhile, she apologised to her Zimbabweans fans for not giving her best perfomance.
