Saviour Kasukuwere, a former Zanu PF politburo member and cabinet minister says a new era has arrived for Zimbabwe.
This comes as people cast their votes on the 23rd and 24th of August and are eagerly waiting for the announcment of presidential election results.
Taking to social media, Kasukuwere said: “There will be a new dawn. A new era has arrived… Good luck Zimbabwe”.
He added that President Emmerson Mnangagwa and the ruling party ZANU PFÂ will try to rig to elections but “its over”.
Meanwhile, elections observer missions have discredited the ongoing elections citing that they fell short of the requirements of the Constitution of Zimbabwe.
