Botswana President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi visited the Zezuru African Gospel Church in Mandunyane over the weekend.

Taking to social media, Masisi said he values the role that the church plays in the country.

“We attended a wonderful sermon at the Zezuru African Gospel Church in Mandunyane yesterday. As the BDP and party in Government, we value the role that the church plays in our country.

He promised the Zezuru that he will send a delegation to the village to address their challenge of having to renounce their Zimbabwean citizenship each time they apply for the renewal of the National Identity card.

He also added that the Bazezuru school in Mandunyane would start using Shona as a language of instruction.
