Mozambique authorities have declined to release Wedza triple murderer to Zimbabwe.
Instead they decided to prosecute him on gun charges because he was found in possession of 2 guns when he was arrested in Mozambique with the help of members of the public.
It is possible that Muvhevhi can be sentenced in Mozambique and be handed over to Zimbabwe to serve his sentence here while being tried for other crimes committed in Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe is expected to file an extradition request.
