Midfielder Enock Mwepu was forced to end his football career due to diagnosis of hereditary heart condition.
The condition can worsen over time and would put Enock at high risk of suffering a fatal cardiac event if he continues playing competitive football.
Head coach Roberto De Zerbi said as a club they will give him all the love and support as he decides on his next steps in life.
