The Progressive Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (PTUZ) have complained about the increase of their salary by US$25 saying it is too little.
The government haa increased United States dollars allowance for civil servants by 25% with effect of 1 September 2022 but there was no increment in their salaries.
Their previous salary was US$175 and was increased to US$200.
The PTUZ posted on twitter said paltrial increment will lead to industrial action by teachers.
