Mvurwi people were shocked after twenty girls from Holy Rosary School were possessed by evil spirits in a suspected case of satanism.
The school authorities had to lock the gates to avoid furious parents from storming the school and the police intervened to calm the situation.
Mashonaland Central Province Deputy Police Spokesperson Sergeant Major Samuel Chikasha confirmed the case.
Witnesses told this publication that a form three girl gave chocolates to her colleagues there by exposing them to satanism.
This incident comes two months after a similar case happened at another Catholic School St Alberts in Mashonaland Central.
