Chitungwiza people protested today demanding the release of Job Sikhala, Godfrey Sithole and 14 members of the CCC arrested in Nyatsime.
Demonstrations took place near Chitungwiza central police station. The detaineeshave been in prison without trial for more than 30 days.
Sikhala and Sithole are accused of inciting public violence following the murder of CCC activist Moreblessing Ali by alleged Zanu-PF supporters.
They were arrested June 14 following violent protests in the Nyatsime area of Chitungwiza.
