CCC spokeperson Fadzayi Mahere took to social media to honour prominent lawyer Beatrice Mthethwa.
Mahere described Mthethwa as a national treasure adding that she is a fierce defender of the rule of law and justice.
Mthethwa is a Zimbabwean lawyer who has been internationally recognized for her defense of human rights.
In 2005, she won the International Press Freedom Award of the Committee to Protect Journalists. She also won Burton Benjamin Memorial Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2008.
Mthethwa has received a number of awards to her name to honour her good work.
