Ezra Tshisa Sibanda reports that Kuda Mahachi’s lawyer and doctors visited Diego at Mpilo hospital to assess and give a second opinion report on the injuries the 4 year old sustained.
The doctors spent about 10 minutes with the son and left the hospital. They refused to comment on the issue when asked about their opinion.
Mahachi was not with his team and his location remains unknown.
He is alleged to have scalded his 4-year-old son Diego with boiling water as punishment.
These horrific injuries did not receive timely medical attention, resulting in the minor’s right foot being amputated.
