Right to Care in South Africa says safe and effective preventative HIV vaccines are now available.
Posting on their website, RTC said the vaccine, along with existing HIV treatment and prevention strategies, would help achieve the goal of ending the HIV epidemic.
Yesterday, 18 May, was HIV Vaccine Awareness Day, raising awareness of the years of research that have been dedicated to finding a reliable way to protect individuals against the virus.
