President Emmerson Mnangagwa will lead the country’s 42nd independence celebrations in Bulawayo.
The city will host the first-ever independence celebrations outside Harare since 1980 at Barbourfields Stadium.
The Bulawayo City Council said it wi spend US$1 million on preparing the city ahead of its historic hosting of this year’s main Independence Day celebrations.
