Folorunso Alakija announces 1 Billion grant for African women

Nigerian Billionaire, Folorunso Alakija, has announced a 5 year grant with  billion Naira for African women.

The program by flourish Africa will be a partnership with PWC and Google, through which 200 women will benefit from training and funding.

Folorunso said every year, 200 women will receive training, and 100 of these will get a chance to pitch for part of the 200 million naira grant per year.

PWC and Google will be corporate social responsibility partners, who will provide expertise and training to the women.
