The South Africa Department of Labor has vowed to flush out all Illegal Zimbabweans who are currently working in Cape Town farms.
In a statement written today, the department said they have checked with Home Affairs Department and no permits have been issued allowing Zimbabweans to work in farms in the Robertson area.
The Department said farm owners and labor brokers will be punished if they are found to have employed illegal Zimbabweans.
The statement follows clashes between locals and Zimbabweans in the Robertson area, with locals complaining that farm owners prefer Zimbabweans.
