Prominent Zimbabwean musician, Selmer Mtukudzi has took to social media to mourn his brother Sam Mtukudzi who died 12 years ago in a horrific Car accident.
“12 years ago today you were take away from us. Continue to rest well my brother,” posted Selmor.
Sam Mtukudzi , son of the legendary Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi passed away in 2010 after a fatal car crash, in which no other vehicles were involved.
Both Sam and his sound engineer, Owen Chimhare, died at the scene of the accident. They were apparently the only occupants of the vehicle.
This happened near the Pamuzinda Highway Escape, whilst travelling back from an event in Bulawayo on route to Harare, Zimbabwe. It appears that the vehicle in which they were travelling completely lost control and veered off the road.
