Socialite and actress Tyra Chikotyo popularly known as Madam Boss is set to release a new movie titled Becoming Madam Boss in May.

Writing on social media, Madam Boss said, “Focus 🧘‍♀️!#becomingmadamboss In cinemas this May. Becoming Madam Boss Nelned Pictures Sydney Taivavashe TV Yako”.

In the film, Tyra, a highly motivated rural-cultured woman dreams of being an influencer by becoming a TV news anchor but her lack of education caused by her learning difficulties stand in her way. She must dig deep within herself if she is to realize her dream.

Madam Boss started her career as a gospel music artist when she released her debut album titled Sunungura. She became prominent as a comedian socialite when she started doing comedy skits as a maid which circulated on social media.

“This film has come at the right time in my career, a time when I’m finally getting international recognition and winning awards. I want this movie to inspire you to chase your dreams no matter what.”

The movie is being produced by Sydney Taivavashe. Sydney’s film project, entitled Seiko, won the best film at the NAMA 2017 in the Short Film category. In 2020 his film Gonarezhou: The Movie (An Anti-poaching awareness film) won the best first feature at Pan-African film festival In Hollywood and Sydney was also nominated for best director.
