The South African special forces soldier who was killed in Mozambique during an ambush by insurgents has been buried in his hometown of Paul Roux in the Free state.

Corporal Teboho Radebe (31), was killed in Chai village after soldiers who survived a first attack were ambushed in a second attack while awaiting to be airlifted.

He is survived by his wife and three children.
