A Harare Court has ordered that Vice President Constantino Chiwenga’s estranged wife Marry Mubaiwa should be detained for mental health examination at the Harare remand prison for the next 10 days.

Magistrate Lazini Ncube announced that Mary Mubaiwa-Chiwenga should be detained at Chikurubi Maximum Prison on Tuesday.

The ruling came after state prosecutor Michael Reza made an application that Mubaiwa-Chiwenga be declared as a mentally unfit  person and the court should apply the provisions of section 26 of the mental health act.

Last night, Marry Mubaiwa released a statement calling for help.

She told how she felt let down by first lady Auxillia Mnangagwa and her husband whom she claims is terrified of his deputy who “said countless times he determines direction wind blows”.
