The President of Zambia, His Excellency Hakainde Hichilema has met His Royal Highness Prince Charles of Wales.

Hichilema is currently in Scotland with other world leaders, attending a Climate Change Conference.

 

He took to social media to update Zambians about his meeting with the Prince of Wales as he looks forward to build good relations with the western countries.

“On the sidelines of the world leader’s summit on climate change here in Glasgow, Scotland, we met with His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales and discussed issues of great importance to our country. 

 

We believe there must be a “Green pathway to prosperity” for all Zambians and we have focused on mobilising trade and investment during all of our conversations during our visit to the UK. 

 

Prince Charles also took time to congratulate our country for holding successful elections this August. 

As we continue to represent our country, both at home and abroad, we will do everything possible to deliver for you our people, as we strive to meet your expectations and aspirations,” he posted.

Hichilema has met many leaders since his appointment as the 7th President of Zambia.
