Popular Zambian prophet, Ian Chipoka popularly known as Prophet Ian Genesis wants to sue those mocking him over his failed prophecy.
About two weeks before even any Zambian could cast a vote, Chipoka joined a chorus of the ‘Christians for Lungu’ group and released a video in which he claimed that God had told him that the incumbent Patriotic Front would win the elections by a landslide.
Despite the public calls for him to present audio recordings as evidence of his conversion with God, Chipoka remained defiant saying he would put all Doubting Thomas’s to shame with an Electoral Commission of Zambia election results announcement which would confirm his prophecy.
However, incumbent leader Edgar Lungu was defeated by opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema.
Following the defeat, Zambians took to social media to slam him for his fake prophecy.
Even after apologizing, Zambians did not stop criticising him.
Prophet Ian Genesis then took to social media to reveal that he will take to court those who abuse him.
“My wife and I are currently at the Lusaka high court where we are waiting for our Lawyer who is in court right now. We want to seek legal counsel on the action to take over the harassment and abuse we are receiving at our home” said Prophet Ian Genesis.
