Antony ChipandireΒ the Matepatepa Village Head in Bindura says villagers are still living in fear in the area as the mysterious fire continues to destroy houses.
Mupandire says they have invited as many prophets as they can but all of them have been failing to come up with a solution.
Earlier this week, 15 houses were reported to have been destroyed due to the mysterious fire.
However, Mupandire says the number of houses that have been destroyed is now over fifteen.
Meanwhile, Matepatepa residents denied that there might be some residents who burn houses on purpose, they suspect that it might be works of witchcraft.
