Musicians EXQ and Nutty O have been granted $5000 bail each by a Harare magistrate.

This comes after the duo spent the weekend in custody after they were arrested for fraud after reportedly producing  fake covid 19 certificates when they returned to Zimbabwe from a South African tour earlier this month.

The magistrate ordered them not to interfere with witnesses and to report at their nearest police stations every Friday.

EX Q and Nutty O were also ordered to surrender their passports to the Clerk of Court.

Allegations are that on June 8 the duo submitted fake Covid-19 certificates to airport officials on their way back from South Africa at the Robert Mugabe International Airport.

The State has it that the questionable documents were used to board a flight to Zimbabwe but were detected at the airport upon arrival from OR Tambo airport and they are currently being held as exhibits.
