In the early days of his carrier ninja President Wallace who is popularly known with his stage name as Winky D, clinched a deal with one of the leading mobile phone brands G-Tel Zimbabwe.
This deal opened many doors in Winky D’s life. The Njema hit maker also signed a contract with the health service group population service international (PSI) during the initial male circumcision campaign.
The top chanter has also been working with Delta beverages, doing campus events that saw him performing at universities around the country and Anual Castle Lager braii festival together with Gemma Griffiths.
The two have been working with equals.
Meanwhile Passion Java revealed that Winky D rejected a deal of 35,000 US dollars for a year to work with him.
Speaking on Facebook Live with Mudiwa, Passion Java said he offered the Dissapear hit maker 35,000 US dollars to work with him for one year, but he calculated and decided that it would not work out.
“I still have the emails, he calculated the money he makes, per month. He has a vision. He just doesn’t do it for money,” said Java.
According to multiple sources, Winky D’s manager does not accept a show less than 3,000 US dollars.
However, it could not be established, whether the fee varies with or without the vigilance band.
