The bank statements of former South African President, Jacob Zuma, have revealed that large sums of money are coming in and out.

Zuma says he only receives a state pension of R143 000 a month.

This was revealed in the Pietermaritzburg high court, where Zuma’s Ex wife, Thobeka Madiba Zuma is demanding R145 000 a month in maintenance. Zuma is offering to pay R20 000 a month.

Thobeka says Zuma is hiding his assets and has business interests and friends that fund him.

Thobeka ‘s lawyer, Sian Clarence, told the court that they sent Subpoenas to every South African bank and received Bank statements from ABSA, FNB and Capitec.

Copies of all the bank statements were given to the judge, showing that Zuma had other income that he had not disclosed.

The undisclosed payments include an amount of R684 000 that was deposited in January 2020.
