Temptation Chiwunga, a relatively unknown midfielder for JDR Stars, is now the second top goal scorer in the GladAfrica Championship Competition in South Africa.
Chiwunga said he never played in Zimbabwe, and only started playing professionally when his family moved to South Africa in 2010.
Chiwunga is popular known for being the captain for second tier team, Ubuntu Cape Town, when they eliminated Amazulu from the Nedbank cup in 2018.
Chiwunga has scored 6 goals this season, from the midfield, and is second to Moeketsi Sekola of Jomo Cosmos who has 8 goals.
He told the Sowetan Newspaper that winning the Golden Boot is not his focus, but to help his team win the PSL next season.
