The Vice president and also the Minister of Health and Child Welfare, Honourable Constantino Chiwenga has been vaccinated for covid 19 vaccine.
VP Chiwenga took the Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine at Wilkins Hospital, becoming the first in the country to take the shot.

This comes 2 days after Zimbabwe received it’s first batch of Covid 19 vaccines that were donated by China.
The vaccine was received by Chiwenga together with the Chinese ambassador to Zimbabwe.
