Anti-riot police yesterday dispersed mourners at Soul Jah Love’s home who were exceeding the maximum number of 30 as per current Lockdown measures.
Soul Jah Love, real name Soul Musaka, passed away on Tuesday evening at the Mbuya Dorcas Hospital in Waterfalls.
Souljah Love had collapsed earlier on in the day. The young singer was 31.
Cops had been called by neighbours complaining about noise and congestion in the street.
Some also fear an “invasion” of Mbare youths at night might result in theft of their properties.
