Emmerson Mnangagwa has extended the lockdown with two more weeks.

Mnangagwa said the decision to extend the lockdown was taken with great deliberation.

Zimbabwe went on lockdown in January as a move to try and control the deadly COVID-19 virus that has wrecked havoc across the globe.

Below are some of the measures put in place

1. Business hours now 0800 to 1700
2. Curfew 2000hrs – 0530am
3. Funerals remain at 30 people
4. Social gatherings remain banned
5.Government to increase manning from 10% to 25%
6. Judiciary only open for urgent cases and no one allowed in gallery
7. Schools remain closed
8.Markets remain open observing social distancing
9. Informal sector to open provided they attain Who standards
10.No intercity and interprovincial travel
