MTV Africa has Announced announced the postponement of its Africa music awards.
The award ceremony will be held at a date that will be announced.
The MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) ceremony was supposed to be held in Kampala, Uganda, on 20 February.
The MAMAs, which are in their seventh edition, will feature performances from leading African and international artists. The event will be in partnership with Uganda’s Ministry of Tourism.
The 20 February ceremony was supposed to be broadcast on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322) and MTV Africa (DStv Channel 130).
Representing Zimbabwe is Shasha on best breakthrough and Asaph on listener’s choice.
