Gospel musician Minister Michael Mahendere’s father has died.
Mahendere shared the sad news on Instagram Monday evening.
The cause of death is still unknown.
Mahendere said he salutes the man who has given him and his family a name and a stature, an inheritance of the incorruptible word of God.
“I would like to thank God who gave me a hero, mentor, intercessor a father and a life coach”, he wrote.
Mahendere who grew up in a Christian family said his father has gone into a place that he preached about, “May his soul rest in eternal peace”.
The singer described his father as a man of virtue who never in his lifetime attempted to shout at his mom but focused on changing lives through ministry.
