MDC-T National chairperson, Morgen Komichi, has congratulated newly elected MDC-T leader Douglas Mwonzora.
Komichi issued a press release saying he wishes Mwonzora well and pledges to do his duties deliligently.
“I would like to congratulate Advocate Senator Douglas T Mwonzora for emerging as the substantive President of the party after the just ended EOC”, he added.
He further added that moving forward, the party is going to work together in archieving the same goal.
“I call on all peaceloving, progressive and patriotic Zimbabweans to rally behind the leadership that President Mwonzora has announced and to give it all the support necessary for the party to offer progressive alternatives to the Zimbabwean question”, said Mwonzora.
Responding to the chaos that happened during the Extraordinary congress, Komichi said the party should not ignore what happened but corrective measures should be taken to avoid similar incident in the future.
