Namibian newly sworn-in Walvis Bay councilor Leroy Victor wants alleged missing millions to be investigated.
Namibian Broadcasting corporation reports that from the onset the councilor is demanding feedback for the missing N$24 million.
The Walvis Bay municipality earlier this year dismissed claims that millions of dollars meant for massive land servicing project were missing.
N$230 million was paid by the municipality to contractors who built the houses for the applicants with who the municipality had signed deeds of sale with.
However, N$24 million was registered into the homeowners names, but the money never reached the municipality’s banking accounts till date.
