Controversial Prophet Tapiwa Freddy has defended his new music video titled rest in peace, in which he featured as a dead man inside a coffin.
Teaching during his online Sunday service, Freddy said he had to be inside a coffin because Rest in peace is a funeral song and it was one of the crucial scenes in the script.
The man of God said he did not find anyone to do it because he wanted to avoid being bashed by people accusing of being involved in occultic practices.
The man of God said he is not expecting many people to listen to the song because Zimbabweans do not support each other.
Freddy said people should understand that there are different concepts in the music industry thus people should stop judging him and understand that in arts there is innovation which musicians add to create a unique song.
He added that some artists are trying to bring him down because they are scared of competition however he said they should understand that he is not a musician but sings out of love.
