Movement for Democratic Change Alliance member of parliament Joana Mamombe , party activists Netsai Marova and Cecilia Chimbiri were on Friday denied entry into Harare magistrates court for putting on masks with MDC A logos.
The trio had gone to attend the bail hearing of Hopewell Chin’ono who was arrested for inciting people to participate in a gathering with intent to promote public violence.
Furious Mamombe her friends said the Zimbabwe Republic police should stop harassing and terrorising people for exercising their democratic rights.
Netsai added that there are people putting on ZANU PF printed masks however they are working scott free without being questioned or denied entry.
