The Ministry of Health has advised Thokozani Khupe not to convene the extraordinary congress on the 31st of July as the country is under lockdown due to Covid-19.
Reinstated MDC T secretary general Douglas Mwonzora said MDC T is engaging the ministry of health to see how the party can hold the congress without offending the healthy measures.
Moreover, Mwonzora said his party is aware of individuals threatening to disrupt the congress however it will go on despite their threats.
Mwonzora said at least 1 500 people have been hired to disrupt the congress on the set day thus more than us$11 000 has been set aside to transport the hooligans.
