Zimbabwean Football legend, Benjani Mwaruwari has donated food hampers to 900 families in Magwegwe Bulawayo, Emthembeni old people’s home and Highlanders first team and coaches.
Through the Benjani Mwaruwari foundation, the former Manchester City and National team footballer brought delight to the families in Bulawayo struggling due to the economic difficulties and Covid 19 lockdown.
Families who received the hampers from Mwaruwari expressed their gratitude and said that Mwaruwari should keep on being kind and giving to those in need.
Highlanders officials also thanked Mwaruwari for the kind gesture as this went a long way to assisting the players to feed their families after they lost their sponsor Netone.
