A 100 year old Gogo Celepra Nyakwangwa from Nyanga confessed to bewitching and killing more than 10 family members in ten years and demanded some cattle as compensation for her seized livestock.
Gogo Nyakwangwa from Saunyama Village in Nyanga decided to go up a hill and surrender all her witchcraft objects accompanied by a well known traditional healer in the area Sekuru Shingirai Mukotsanjera, her son Johannes Saunyama and Nyakwangwa family members for the process.
Before she decided to surrender witchcraft she revealed she has been killing her family members as revenge for the livestock that was taken away from her by her siblings more than 50 years ago.
Gogo Nyakwangwa’s son revealed that his mother retrieved a horn and a male-like private organ from the ground which she used to murder her family members.
Gogo Nyakwangwa has vowed to continue causing distress in the Nyakwangwa family if her demands are not met.
