FORMER goverment minister Sylvester Nguni’s mother who died from Coronavirus, reportedly contracted the virus from her nephew Christopher Chitemere, who was released from quarantine before the mandatory 14 days were up.

According to Zim Morning Post Chitemere arrived in Zimbabwe from the UK on April 11, defied orders to be quarantined for 21days after being released unprocedurally from, Zipam, a quarantine facility in Norton.

The publication said, after his release from Zipam, Chitemere invited his aunty Gogo Nguni at his Borrowdale home.

Chitemere is now on the run, wanted by the police in connection with how gogo Nguni may have contracted the deadly virus that eventually killed her.
