Former MDCT -T Secretary General Nixon Nyikadzino has dropped a hint at the possible Strategy by Thokozani Khuphe.
Speaking to Zimeye, Nyikadzino said the extraordinary congress as per the supreme court judgement will take place at the end of June.
Nyikadzino said the date has not been finalised yet however calculating from the day the judgement was passed the date will be set for the month end of June.
“There is a possibility of seeking an extension”, said Nyikadzino.
He added that it might change considering the Covid-19 pandemic which has seen to the closure and postponement of a number of key activities.
When asked about the legality of the appointment of Nelson Chamisa and Ellias Mudzuri as Vice Presidents by the late Morgan Tsvangirai, Nyikadzino said the appointment was unconstitutional.
He said there was something amiss with the the appointment which then caused a rift between party members after the death of the Icon.
