Dr Clarence of TV7 live has urged everyone to abide by the 21-days lockdown to curb the spread of the deadly Covid-19 pandemic.

In a video on Monday the first day of the lockdown, Clarence called for people to practice self isolation to fight the virus and most importantly protect the vulnerable who already have underlying conditions.

He added that failure to adhere to the measures put by the government, will force the government to declare marshall law that gives the security forces power to use force on anyone who defies the lockdown.

Clarence said other countries like China are beating the virus through surveillance.

The whole Chinese nation is being monitored because the government cannot afford to let the country exposed again.

The only means to avoid surveillance in Zimbabwe is staying indoors and practising hygiene.

“Sacrifice right now before we are sacrifice by the beast (Covid-19) from the sea”, said Clarence.

At least 37,140 people have now died as a result of the outbreak while 745,308 infected worldwide, with 156,875 people who have recovered.
