MDC mayors have started recognising ED Mnangagwa as the legitimate president of Zimbabwe.
Today in Mutare, Mutare Mayor, Councilor Tandi took that step.
The Mayor of Mutare, Councillor Tandi, in addressing the President to express his joy at the start of Govt-initiated smart cities programme, properly addressed the President as “Excellency”.
This is in contrary to his party position which mantains that ED Mnangagwa is not legitimate and should not be addressed as his excellency.
