Today, Fadzai Mahere and co-lawyer Fiona Illif have managed to secure a court order barring New Life Covenant Church from building a church on a wetland.
New Life Covenant Church is led by Bishop Tudor Bismarck and wife Chichi.
The church had embarked on a project to build a church in Newlands.
The site has been confirmed to be a wetland and the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights has stood against building of structures in wetlands.
